Commer is another name under the Rootes group banner. Mostly commercial trucks and vans. Loads of them in the UK, rather rare here. Most in the US were badged as Sunbeams. In Canada, they kept their proper name (or so it seems)

Last year I picked up a 1962 Commer 1500 Camper conversion. About 6 months later I helped a friend bring down a 1967 Commer Autosleeper. Both need work, but are so ugly they had to be saved.

The plan is to re-power them with something with a bit more torque that the original engines so they can be used as tow vehicles for the vintage cars.
